La "Camignada poi siè refuge" è

In the mountainous area of the Veneto, in the Auronzo di Cadore district (province of Belluno) in the heart of the Dolomites  the Alpine hut Auronzo is situated at the end of the scenic route which from Misurina lake reaches the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

The magnificent scenery takes in at a glance the imposing Croda dei Toni, Auronzo lake, the Cadini of Misurina, Misurina lake and the Cristallo chain. In this area there are some of the most famous and beautiful paths which among wild and uncontaminated landscapes wind along the places of the Great War: from the galleries of Paterno, to the famous “Strada degli Alpini” (the Route of the Alpine troops) to the Croda Rossa of Sesto.

But the Tre Cime di Lavaredo with the north face are also one of the most beautiful, interesting and famous climbing routes. The Alpine hut Auronzo is right at the centre of this  natural paradise; from this year the hut is run directly by the local section of Club Alpino Italiano: the Cadore section of Auronzo “Luigi Rizzardi”.
